Book A Session

1:1 Prenatal or Postpartum Yoga Coaching Session

An evidence-informed practice for pregnant and postpartum women

Book a private session designed entirely for you – your body, history, symptoms, and goals. You will be guided through every pose and breath and no prior yoga experience is required.

This is for you if you are:

  • In pain and want to move in a way that supports healing
  • Pregnant or postpartum and unsure how to exercise safely as your body changes
  • Living with depression or anxiety and looking for an evidence-based practice to support your mental health
  • Experiencing stress, hypervigilance, anger, irritability, or dissociation and need to feel calm, present, and safe
  • Managing a perinatal condition such as sciatica, pelvic girdle pain, diastasis recti, prolapse, or back pain
  • Preparing your body and mind for an empowered birth
  • Rebuilding after birth — restoring core function, pelvic floor integrity, alignment, and mind-body connection

Nurture your body, mood, and mental health in this sacred time

Research consistently shows yoga reduces anxiety, depression, and stress across pregnancy and postpartum, more so than all other exercise types (Frontiers in Psychology, 2024). The effects work through nervous system regulation: enhancing parasympathetic activity, lowering cortisol, and supporting the body’s capacity to move out of survival mode. The perinatal period is a time of heightened mental health risk and the leading cause of health burden for women of childbearing age in Australia (AIHW, 2024).

1:1 Motherhood Consultation

Specialist guidance for mothers, grounded in research

Motherhood is layered.  What you’re carrying might be physical, emotional, practical, or all of the above — and most of the time, there’s nowhere to take it that actually understands the full picture. That’s where I come in, as a certified Motherhood Studies Practitioner who understands the reality and nuances of motherhood, both academically and personally.

This is a single, focused, 60-minute session to help you make sense of where you are.

You will leave with:

  • language and context for your experience
  • clear next steps informed by your values and reality
  • consultation notes and any relevant resource recommendations.

This is for you if you are navigating:

  • Birth planning and preparation
  • Setting up a successful postpartum
  • Identity loss — the disorienting sense of not recognising yourself in motherhood
  • Chronic stress, fatigue, anxiety, or irritability
  • Mum guilt, shame, or the pressure to do it all perfectly
  • Mental load and domestic inequity — and wanting practical tools to address it
  • Nervous system dysregulation and needing strategies to feel calm and grounded
  • The need for structure, systems, and routines to make mum life less chaotic
  • Chronic low mood or worry

All guidance is informed by sociological study of modern motherhood — the unique pressures mothers face and the inherent needs that go unmet. There is no one-size-fits-all approach here. Just an empathetic, educated space to get real help, mother to mother.

Payment is collected securely at the time of booking. Choose a time that suits you and select whether you’d like your session in-person at my Sandgate studio or online. Babies are welcome.
